COUNTER DRONE SOLUTIONS

COUNTER DRONE

Sentry Fusion CUAS is built to suit the operational requirments of the mission. We employ a layered CUAS strategy by implementing multiple defensive measures that operate synergistically to detect, track, and mitigate unauthorized drones. The first layer involves a robust and reliable surveillance system consisting of radar, electro-optical sensors, and radio frequency detectors to detect and classify drones within a given airspace. Once a threat is identified, the second layer comes into play, employing electronic countermeasures such as jamming or spoofing to disrupt the communication and navigation systems of the intruding drone, rendering it ineffective. In some cases, a third layer can be added, featuring kinetic or non-kinetic solutions like anti-drone guns or directed energy weapons to physically disable or destroy the hostile drone.

SENTRY FUSION C2

The fastest way to act on potential threats involving ground/air/water based vehicles, or UAS is with accurate identification and constant situational awareness.

Sentry Fusion is a state-of-the-art multi-frequency surveillance command and control (C2) system that combines data from cutting-edge sensors such as 3D air surveillance and tracking radar technology, RF Detection, EO/IR and acoustic. Once a threat is detected, Sentry Fusion has the capability to offer the correct solution for the inbound threat such as electronic warfare, spoofing or kinetic mitigation. The system is designed specifically for surveillance and track operations against multiple target types in complex environments. The system offers high-fidelity target classification, which delivers earlier threat warnings to operators and selectable mitigation options.

DETECTION

Utilising radar systems to accurately detect and track drones, regardless of their size, shape, or visual characteristics. Weibel’s Xenta Radar for drone detection provides a reliable and efficient solution, allowing for early warning and appropriate responses to potential threats. While fusing the data from Xenta with other our cameras and radio frequency sensors, Sentry Fusion can enhance the overall detection and tracking capabilities, ensuring comprehensive surveillance and security in various settings. Xenta provides detection on multiple threats including Class 3 Drone detection at 28km

IDENTIFICATION & TRACK

The integration of cameras allows for visual identification and tracking of drones in real-time. Sophisticated image processing algorithms enable the detection of drones based on their distinct visual signatures, such as shape, size, and movement patterns. Additionally, radio frequency sensors play a vital role in identifying the radio signals emitted by drones. By analyzing the unique radio frequency patterns, it becomes possible to detect and locate drones within a specific area. The combination of camera and radio frequency technology provides a comprehensive approach to monitoring and tracking drones, facilitating rapid response and effective countermeasures when necessary. This advanced system enhances security measures and helps prevent potential risks associated with unauthorized drone activities.

MITIGATION

Mitigating drone threats requires a multi-faceted approach that leverages various techniques including RF jamming, kinetic measures, and capture methods. RF jamming involves disrupting the communication signals between a drone and its operator, rendering the drone temporarily inoperative. Kinetic measures, on the other hand, involve the use of physical force to neutralize the drone, such as using specialized anti-drone firearms or directed energy weapons. Additionally, capturing drones through advanced net-based systems can provide a non-destructive approach to disable and contain rogue drones.
